OIC secretary-general warns Israel against wine party
Secretary-general of the organization of Islamic cooperation Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu warned the Israeli occupation regime against organizing a festival for alcoholic drinks in the courtyard of the historical Mosque of Beersheba city in the next few days.

In a press release posted on the organization's website, Ihsanoglu condemned this Israeli behavior as another violation to be added to Israel's closure of the Mosque and its ban on Muslims to use it for  worship.

He said this violation is part of the systematic Israeli campaign against the Islamic holy sites and antiquities in the occupied Palestinian territories and constitutes an affront to the feelings of Muslims around the world.

The secretary-general held Israel fully responsible for the repercussions of such violations against the Islamic places of worship. He warned these violations would inflame the atmosphere of tension and instability in the region.
