"Book on the life of one of the most remarkable Iranian poets is published by the Ministry of Culture in Syria.
"Omar Khayyam" is the name of the book called after remarkable Iranian 11-12th century polymath is published for the Syrian readers, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
This book, on the biography of the poet is written by Honadi Zargha, Syrian researcher.
According to the author, Khayyam who was born in Northeastern Iran was a poet, astrologer, mathematician and one of the most outstanding scientists in history.
"Khayyam also had wide knowledge of Qur'anic sciences, poesy, Chemistry, religion, Greek Philosophy and also other religions including Buddhism.
The author to this work added, Khayyam was a very knowledgeable person founded numerology and astronomy based on observation and numerology.
