Representatives from 9 countries participating in “Islamic Awakening and Cinema” Congress are going to hold special forums on the topic in Milad Tower on February 5.

The forums will discuss the effects of cinema on public uprisings in Arab countries and present the findings as the congress’s declaration at the closing ceremony of the Fajr International Film Festival.
The congress will be attended by 30 guests and speakers from Kuwait, Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia, Turkey, Iraq, Yemen, Morocco and the UK, as well as a number of cultural attachés, foreign ambassadors and representatives of different news agencies.
The congress on "Islamic Awakening and Cinema” is planned to be held on February 4 in IRIB’s conference hall with Mohammad Khazaee as its secretary.
The 30th edition of the Fajr Film Festival opens on February 1 in Tehran and on February 6 in other provinces across the country.
