The World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought (WFPIST) plans to hold the 25th International Islamic Unity Conference on February 8.

The conference will be held in Tehran in two sections, one evaluating the 20-year performance of the WFPIST and the other discussing the Islamic awakening tide.

Members of the forum as well as thinkers and scholars from 50 countries such as Malaysia, Russia, Indonesia, Iraq, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Britain, Australia, Denmark, USA, Tunisia, Qatar, China, Yemen and Egypt will be attending the conference.

Role of the Islamic Revolution in developing Islamic Awakening, strengthening Islamic organizations and institutes, fostering the culture of Islamic unity and proximity, elevating the level of public knowledge about Islam and contemporary issues of the Islamic societies, and boosting support for Islamic resistance are among the themes of the international event.
