Media expert Nader Talebzadeh said the decisive awakening is one that will happen in the US.

Addressing a forum on Friday, May 11, Talebzadeh said the awakening tide has spread beyond the Muslim world into other parts of the world, especially the United States.

Titled ‘Islamic Awakening, Arab Spring, or Human Awakening’ the forum was held at the Islamic Awakening section of the 25th Tehran International Book Fair.

Talebzadeh noted that the US government had predicted the tide of awakening in the country and based on a report issued by the US Department of Homeland Security, 450 million blank bullets (two for every American citizen) had been ordered by American security forces for confronting likely huge protests.

He described the Occupy Wall Street movement as different from anti-war movements in the 1970s and said the protest movements in the 70s were the result of war in Vietnam and ended with the termination of the war. "The current movement, however, will not extinguish, but will spread.”

The media analyst pointed to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khamenei’s statements about the progress of awakening to the heart of Europe and America, saying that awakening is a fire under the ashes that will surface in the US in the future.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Talebzadeh said popular movements in the Middle East and North Africa thwarted plots against Lebanon’s Hezbollah.

He added that at a time when there was huge pressure on Hezbollah and court verdicts had been issued against four of its members as part of a plot to disarm the group, suddenly the Islamic Awakening sparks ignited in Tunisia and other parts of the Middle East, defusing the schemes against Hezbollah.
