Palestinian popular PM Ismail Haniyeh concluded his visit to Cairo on Saturday, July 28, by inviting Egyptian president Mohammed Morsi and leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood to visit Gaza.

The invitation, which was also addressed to supreme leader of the Muslim Brotherhood Mohammed Badie, his deputy Khairat El-Shater, and other leaders, was accepted.

Haniyeh and the accompanying delegation had earlier conferred with Badie and other leaders at the Muslim Brotherhood headquarters for two hours in-camera.

Brotherhood leaders told the PIC that the discussion tackled Palestinian developments, current conditions in the Gaza Strip, and means of extending assistance to the Strip.

The Brotherhood decorated the road leading to its headquarters with Palestinian and Egyptian flags along with green banners welcoming the visit of Haniyeh to Egypt.
