Arab League Urged Arab and Islamic Nations to Save Holy City of Jerusalem
The Arab League on Monday, Feb 8, urged the international community, including Arab and Islamic nations, to practice further efforts to save the holy city of Jerusalem and to help protect its people.
The Arab League Assistant Secretary General for Palestinian Affairs Mohammad Sabeeh remarked that the international silence over what is happening in the Palestinian occupied territories encourages the Zionist occupation to continue its aggression.

Zionist aggressive policies have increased as of late, Sabeeh warned, adding that the Arab League and its Secretary General Amr Moussa are closely monitoring the situation, Rohama reported.

In this context, he noted to the dangers of the Zionist blockade at Ras Al-Amood, on the outskirts of Jerusalem, expressing fears this could be in continuation of its plans to continue digging tunnels under one of Islam's holiest of shrines, the Aqsa Mosque, in search of presumed Jewish temples.

The Arab League official also condemned Zionist regime's search and raid, and random arrests of villagers in Shuafat refugee camp in Jerusalem.
